And so, it’s come to this. For more than 27 years our team has arranged VA & CalVet mortgages in the state of California. With respect, admiration and appreciation we’ve embraced every Veteran, Servicemember and Survivor who’ve crossed our path. We’re now being told that we must start blogging (and releasing videos). Our millennial associates insist that over 75 years of combined VA knowledge has to be shared. They’ve even said it would be irresponsible to NOT share what we know. With that in mind, treasured reader, please be empathetic as we make our first foray into the blogosphere. Does this blogging thing require some type of license? Should it?
The objective of this blog is fairly simple. First and foremost we we want to explain mortgage loans in a clear, understandable and sometimes funny manner. The goal is to remove fear and intimidation from the mortgage lending process.
We understand that in life Stuff Happens! And in Military Life Stuff Really Happens!! But regardless of the circumstance, if a person of valor is determined to buy a home, or refinance an existing residence, more often than not there is a way to make it happen.
There are literally hundreds of home loan programs available, but this Blog, is about VA and CalVet (California Veterans) Home Loans — and the Veterans, Servicemembers and Survivors who’ve earned them. Sometimes we’ll share their stories — and our stories, when there is something meaningful to be learned.
We’ll also discuss topics and post videos that don’t always relate to mortgages, but are nonetheless engaging and rewarding.
